Cyber security · Cyber Essentials

Cyber security that stops the attacks hitting UK businesses.

Most breaches start with an email, a weak password or an unpatched laptop. We close those gaps first, then watch your estate 24/7 so anything that gets through is caught quickly.

Cyber Security questions

What people ask before switching.

How much does Cyber Essentials cost?
Our guided certification starts from £1,500. The IASME assessment fee is separate, between £320 and £600 plus VAT depending on the size of your organisation. Cyber Essentials Plus is quoted separately.
Do we need Cyber Essentials?
It is required for many public-sector and defence contracts, often requested in supplier questionnaires, and can help with cyber insurance. It also blocks the most common types of attack.
What is a Security Operations Centre?
A team and platform that monitors your devices, email and network around the clock and responds when something suspicious happens, including nights and weekends.
Can you test our security without disrupting the business?
Yes. Penetration tests are scoped and scheduled with you, and the report explains each finding with a clear fix.
What does a penetration test cover?
External tests of your websites, servers and cloud services, internal tests of workstations, servers and network devices, and, if you want them, social engineering tests of how staff handle phishing and pretexting. Every finding is ranked by impact, and we help you prioritise the fixes.
What does your staff security training cover?
Spotting phishing through simulated campaigns, resisting social engineering such as pretexting, baiting and tailgating, using strong passwords and password managers, and knowing what to do and who to tell when something looks wrong.
How quickly can we recover if we lose data?
We run automated, encrypted backups, on-premises or in the cloud, and test restores. Systems that cannot afford downtime can use continuous data protection, which backs up in real time, and a disaster recovery plan sets out how we get you running again.
Is PC1 Cyber Essentials certified?
Yes. PC1 holds Cyber Essentials for the whole organisation, certified by IASME. The certificate is public: use “Verify our certificate” at the top of this page to see it on the registry.
